RHYDEMIC, real name Ronald Balantang Delfin, is a Filipino rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer born in Marilog District, Davao City. His passion for music began at a young age, writing songs during his elementary years, which later led him to join the rap group *3 Ace Rappers MNTA*. After gaining experience in the collective, he pursued solo projects, especially following the COVID-19 pandemic, when he decided to focus on independent production and creative freedom. In 2018, he founded *Kiko Bataan Music Entertainment*, which was later rebranded in 2021 as *Rhydemic Music Productions*, serving as his official record label and creative outlet. Rhydemic’s music is deeply rooted in Filipino rap and hip-hop culture, often blending modern beats with heartfelt storytelling. His lyrics explore themes of loneliness, love, resilience, and personal struggles, resonating with listeners who connect to his emotional honesty. He has released albums such as *Shadow of Loneliness* and *Pinagmulan*, along with notable singles like *Lampara*, *Masaya Kana*, *Ikaw Pa Rin*, *Pagluha*, and *Damdamin*. Collaborating with producers like LC Beats and Tower Beatz, and affiliating with *Bukidnon Rhyme Productions* led by MC Jhee, he has built a reputation as both a performer and a producer. Beyond his music, Rhydemic emphasizes independence and community. His label’s logo symbolizes autonomy and calm strength, reflecting his philosophy that “remaining calm is a secret form of power.” He maintains a strong online presence through his YouTube channel *Rhydemic Music Productions PH*, Facebook page, and blogsite, and in 2025 he launched a mobile app to expand access to his catalog and writings. Today, Rhydemic stands as a voice of grassroots Filipino rap, embodying resilience and creativity while supporting local artists and shaping the independent music scene in the Philippines.
